A viewing guide to Black Warrant
Original context, checked against this title’s facts and the sources below. Streaming listings are dated separately above.
A jailer’s view of Tihar
The series draws on Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer, written by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury. It turns Gupta’s experiences into a drama, so the book connection doesn’t make every scene a historical record. Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh created the show. The first season has seven episodes.
